What we collect
Details you give us — name, company, billing address, email, phone, tax number and client-area login credentials; transaction records and payment references (never full card numbers); technical data needed to run and secure the service (IP addresses, access and error logs); and your support correspondence.
Why we hold it
To provide and bill the service you ordered, to manage your account and support requests, to improve and research our services, to detect abuse and secure the platform, to meet legal and tax obligations, and — only with your consent — to send product news and measure our own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for functionality and, with your consent, measurement. Analytics and marketing tools we may use include Google Analytics, Clicky, Zoho PageSense, Smartlook, Zoho SalesIQ and AdRoll. See the Cookie Policy for the full breakdown and how to control them.
Who we share it with
- Payment processors — Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, CCAvenue and InstaMojo — to take payment and prevent fraud.
- Sub-processors for technical services, email delivery, monitoring and storage, each under a data-processing agreement.
- Contractors bound by confidentiality where they help us run the service.
- Legal authorities where required by law or to protect the platform.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition.
- Marketing partners may receive aggregated, non-identifying data only.
We do not sell your personal data.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, or our legitimate interests in running and securing the service.
Where your data lives and international transfers
We serve customers across India, the United States and Europe. Our contracting entities are iPlus Webservices Pvt Ltd (India) and iPlusHost (USA); we do not operate a separate European entity. Your data may be processed in India, the US or another country where we or our processors operate. GDPR rights still apply to customers in Europe regardless of where the contracting entity sits, and transfers are made with appropriate safeguards. By providing your data you consent to these transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal obligations. Account and invoice records are typically retained for the period required by tax law; access logs are kept for a limited period; and data from a terminated service is purged after cancellation.
Your rights
You can access or update your details in the client area, or by contacting support [at] iplushost [dot] com. If GDPR applies to you, you may also request erasure, data portability, or a restriction on processing, and you have the right to be informed of a personal-data breach that affects you. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message.
Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Security
We use industry-standard technologies to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and the security of third-party sites you connect to is outside our control.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the current version always lives at this URL with its “last updated” date. For any privacy question or request, contact support [at] iplushost [dot] com.
