1. Agreement and eligibility
By ordering a service you confirm you are authorised to bind the account holder named on the invoice, and you accept these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy. Accounts must carry accurate, reachable contact details; we may suspend an account we cannot reach for a security matter.
2. Domain name registration
We make no guarantee that a requested domain can be registered — registration is subject to the rules of the relevant naming authority, which may refuse it. Domain registration and administration charges are non-refundable, including where a registration is refused. We assume no liability for disputes over domain ownership and may suspend or cancel a domain where a registry, court or law requires it.
3. Payment, renewal and taxes
Charges are due and payable in advance of the service being provided. Services renew automatically on each anniversary — month, quarter or year — at the published rate, unless auto-renewal is cancelled in the client area before the renewal date. We invoice in US Dollars or Indian Rupees, and applicable GST or VAT is added at checkout. A returned or bounced payment carries a $45 handling fee. Non-payment allows us to suspend the service immediately.
4. Service availability
We use reasonable endeavours to keep servers and the network available, but the service is provided “as is”. We may suspend the service at any time and, generally, without notice; a suspension we expect to exceed 7 days will be accompanied by our reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and do not offer compensation or service credits for downtime.
5. Refunds and cancellation
You may cancel at any time through the support ticket system in the client area.
- 7-day full refund — within the first seven days of a new service you may request a full, no-questions-asked refund.
- 30-day money-back — within the first thirty days you may request a refund of hosting fees, excluding domain registration, dedicated servers, data-transfer/overage fees and excessive support requests.
- Reseller / partner plans — refunded less any usage fees where usage has been material.
- Refunds are issued only to the original credit or debit card, and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Customers who have held an iPlusHost account previously, and services cancelled for a policy breach or non-payment, are not eligible for a refund.
6. Suspension, termination and your data
We may suspend or terminate a service — without notice and without refund — for non-payment, breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, insolvency, or where required by law. On termination we may block the site and remove all data stored on the server. You remain responsible for keeping an independent backup of business-critical data.
7. Support
Standard support covers server- and service-related problems, requested in English through the client area. Custom scripting, application debugging or development work is chargeable at $125 per hour (30-minute minimum) and quoted before work begins. During an emergency outage you may reach us by the alternate channels listed in the client area.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of the service is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy. Serious or repeated breaches — including unlawful content, bulk or unsolicited email, or network abuse — lead to suspension or termination and may carry the fees set out in that policy.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify iPlusHost against all claims, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and reasonable legal expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the charges you paid for the affected service, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss, or for loss of data. Any claim must be notified to us within one year of the event giving rise to it.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India and the State of Karnataka, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with its “last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
